Introduction:

MAP Protocol is an open, fully decentralized, chain-to-chain interoperation protocol that enables the interoperability of multiple blockchains. Such interoperability could be achieved among different blockchain system or among several Layer-2 subchains. MAP Protocol expects to construct a future inter-chain-net, which is interoperable and chain-to-chain based. The ecosystem built on MAP Protocol can provide a solid infrastructure for DeFi, DEX, AI, IoT, traceability, and governance filed by cross-chain communication, privacy computation, shared storage, etc

Phase 1 2019.Q3–2020.Q4
Gravity:
Release MAP Protocol Gravity Version. Implement MAP-ULVP module and MAP-POS Consensus.

Phase 2 2021.Q2
Electromagnetic:
Release MAP Protocol Electromagnetic Version. Launch MAP Testnet Makalu. Implement MAP-Feeder module .

Phase 3 2021.Q4
Interaction:
Release MAP Protocol Interaction Version. Launch MAP Mainnet. Implement MAP P2P Stack. Realize MAP Layer2 Cross-Chain and MATE framework.

Phase 4 2022.Q2
Grand Unification:
Release MAP Protocol Grand Unification Version. Realize cross-chain interoperability with other blockchain systems.
